The 3M Scotch-Brite 6 Scuffing Discs give you a faster and more efficient way to machine scuff final sanding of primer-surfacer. The scuffing disc attaches to 3M Hookit Disc Pad 05776 and is available in colors Maroon (07467) and Gray (07468). The scuff pads are also available in two grades, Ultra Fine and General Purpose. They have abrasive mineral type Aluminum Oxide (07467) - Silicon Carbide (07468). Versatile hand pad that can be used in a variety of applications to clean, finish, grain, and defuzz. Won't shred during use, rust after use, or create fine metal splinters. The non-woven, open-web material resists loading and can be used dry, with water or solvents,and rinsed clean for reuse. May be used by hand, with a hand pad block, or on an in-line sander. Contains Very Fine grade aluminum oxide for removing stubborn grease and other build-up.
