Queen Elinor has worked hard during Merida’s young life to teach her daughter of her true destiny. But, defying the age-old and sacred customs, Merida's actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury with the other Scottish Lords and clans. Along their journey she sees the blue wisps whom she follows to an eccentric and wise old woman who grants Merida an ill-fated wish.
