Monsieur Patate (Toy Story – Pixar)

Avant d'être un personnage de Toy Story, Monsieur Patate était à l'origine un véritable jouet créé par l'inventeur Georges Lerner à la fin des années 1940. Il avait imaginé des morceaux de visages en plastiques à fixer sur des fruits et légumes pour amuser les enfants. Le succès rencontré par ce jouet fut tel qu'il est devenu la mascotte de la société Hasbro. En 1995, il trouve une seconde jeunesse commercial grâce au succès du film d'animation Toy Story de Pixar, Monsieur Patate fait partie de la bande de jouets du petit Andy, ce qui a considérablement relancé sa popularité.
